Cookies and Local Storage
This website sets no cookies. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. There is nothing to accept, nothing to reject, and that is why you have never seen a consent banner here.
An earlier version of this page listed ten named cookies in three categories, described a consent banner with Accept All / Essential Only / Customize buttons, and claimed we honoured Do Not Track signals. None of that was true. No such cookies were ever set, the banner never existed, and there was no tracking to switch off. This page now describes what the site actually does.
1. What This Site Stores on Your Device
Two things, and each one only if you do the thing that creates it:

The first holds a language code — en, tr, ru or es. Nothing else. It carries no identifier, it is never sent to our servers, and it cannot be used to recognise you. Local storage, unlike a cookie, is not attached to network requests at all: it stays in your browser.
The second appears only when you put something in the basket in the shop, and it holds only what you chose: which variant, and how many. No price, no product name, no address, and nothing that identifies you — prices and names are read back from our catalogue every time the page draws itself, so a stale basket cannot show you a stale price. It stays in your browser and reaches us only as the contents of an order you place yourself. A basket is part of the shop you came for, so there is nothing here to consent to either. An older key, omnisio_shop_cart, belonged to an order flow that no longer exists; the shop deletes it from your browser on load rather than leaving it sitting there.
2. What This Site Does Not Do
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Plausible, no PostHog, no Hotjar, no Vercel Analytics. We do not measure page views, scroll depth, clicks or sessions.
- No advertising and no tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no ad networks, no retargeting, no conversion tags. We do not participate in any advertising network.
- No A/B testing and no behavioural profiling.
- No session cookie, because there is nothing to log into. The website is a set of static pages; your Omnisio account lives in the iPhone app.
- No cross-site tracking of any kind.
3. The One Third Party That Sees You
Five pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts: our home page, our Omnisio Team page, and the store, checkout and order pages. A font request is still a request: to serve it, Google receives your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. Google states it sets no cookies for Fonts, but the connection itself is a transfer of data to Google.
We tell you this because it is the only third party this site contacts, and because "we use no cookies" would be a half-truth without it. The legal pages you are reading now — this one, Privacy, Terms, Support, KVKK, Community Guidelines, Data Deletion — load no external resources at all.
Beyond that, our hosting provider processes your IP address in its server logs for the ordinary purpose of delivering the page and defending against abuse, as any web host must.
4. Why There Is No Consent Banner
Consent is required for storing or reading information on your device that is not strictly necessary for a service you asked for. A single language preference you chose yourself, held only in your browser and never transmitted, does not meet that bar — and there is no analytics or advertising storage here to consent to.
Putting a banner in front of you anyway, to ask permission for things we do not do, would be theatre. If we ever add analytics, this page changes first and the banner arrives with it.
5. Clearing It
Clearing site data for omnisio.app in your browser removes the language preference and anything left in the basket; the site then falls back to your browser's language. In Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions. In Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. In Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. In Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Nothing breaks if you clear it. You will be asked to pick a language again, and a basket you had not ordered yet will be empty.
6. The Mobile App
The Omnisio iPhone app does not use cookies. It stores your preferences and cached data in the app's own sandboxed storage, and your sign-in credentials in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. Deleting the app removes that storage from your phone.
What the app collects and sends to us is a separate question, and it is answered in the Privacy Policy — not here.
7. Do Not Track
We do not act on Do Not Track signals, because there is nothing for them to turn off. A previous version of this page claimed we honoured DNT; no code ever did, and claiming a protection we do not implement is worse than having none.
8. Changes to This Page
If we add anything that stores or reads data on your device, this page is updated before that change ships, with the revision date above.
